📍Da Nang, Vietnam 🎇
We had a great time in Da Nang, although as it was the Lunar new year, most places were closed and the places that were open were almost double the price so we found it really hard to find places to eat, all transport stopped for a few days etc.. so I actually wouldn’t recommend traveling here on the new year..
The one good thing about being here on the new year though is that there was a fantastic fireworks show at midnight! We stood on the Dragon Bridge and watched them, it was amazing! Also on weekends at 9pm this bridge has a fire & water show which was pretty cool! 🐉
In Da Nang we also visited Ba Na Hills which was awesome! You get a cable car up into the clouds where there’s a bridge held by two hands which you can walk across. There’s a French village here and also a little theme park!
Da Nang was the first place we have been to where we visited the beach! I didn’t know what to expect as it’s right next to the city but it was lovely and clean, quiet.. the waves were mental though, surfers paradise! 🏄♂️
We visited Chua Linh Ung (Buddhist temple), but Harry was more excited by the monkeys running around 🙈 My Son Sanctuary was also really cool.. (temple complex) 🛕
